Fujitsu Releases New Electronic Medical Record Solution

- Combines 24-hour systems support center with latest release of HOPE/EGMAIN-GX -

Tokyo, April 24, 2009 — Fujitsu Limited today announced the release of HOPE/EGMAIN-GX V2 (Version 2), a new version of the electronic medical record (EMR) solution originally released in July 2008, as part of the company's efforts to shift EMR solutions from an input and reference tool toward a more useful and integral role in healthcare delivery.

Fujitsu to Release Compact ATM with Japan's Fastest Banknote Handling

- Reduces total ATM operating costs by 40% -

Tokyo, April 24, 2009 — Fujitsu Limited and Fujitsu Frontech Limited today announced the development of a compact automatic teller machine with the fastest banknote-handling performance in Japan, making it an optimal ATM solution for train stations, shopping centers and other locations with tight space requirements. Sales of the new ATM will begin in Japan today. The banknote dispensing speed of the new model is 30% faster than in previous Fujitsu models, making it the fastest compact ATM model in Japan. With faster banknote handling, the new model will shorten wait times for users during peak usage periods. In addition, increased banknote storage capacity means that armored car servicing calls(1) will be less frequent and servicing fees lower. The new model also uses less power in standby mode. These and other upgrades deliver total operating costs roughly 40% lower than with previous models.

Fujitsu Named a Strong Performer in Global IT Infrastructure Outsourcing by Independent Research Firm

SUNNYVALE, CA -- 04/23/09 -- Fujitsu was among the select companies that Forrester Research invited to participate in its April 6, 2009, report "The Forrester Wave(TM): Global IT Infrastructure Outsourcing, Q1 2009." In this evaluation, Fujitsu was selected as a strong performer in global IT infrastructure outsourcing. Early Action Can Save Stressed Households Thousands - But Some Fixed Rate Holders are Locked in With No Way Out

Sydney, 23 April, 2009 — Fujitsu Australia and New Zealand, a leading service provider of business, information technology and communications solutions today released its April 2009 Mortgage Stress-O-Meter monthly update. The number of households experiencing Mortgage Stress fell 2.8% compared with March with 568,000 households in some degree of pain, compared with a peak of 900,000 in August 2008. Severely stressed households (those facing a potential sale or foreclosure) rose by 3%, despite lower interest rates and Government payments. At least 101,000 households are still at risk of having to sell up or lose their homes thanks to higher unemployment levels. Mild stress fell by 4.9%, thanks to the second round of stimulus payments.

Fujitsu ROADM granted RUS Technical Acceptance

Fujitsu IT contractors latest to suffer contract rate cut Apr 23, 2009 -- Contractors at Fujitsu are the latest to be told to accept a 15% rate cut. In March, permanent staff at the the IT giant were told that pay would be frozen across Europe due to the economic downturn. Around 21,000 staff are thought to have been affected. Around 450 staff employed by agencies are expected to be affected by the rate cut, which will be implemented over the coming month.

Lattice Semiconductor Reports First Quarter Financial Results

April 23, 2009 --
Lattice Semiconductor Corporation (NASDAQ: LSCC) today announced financial results for the first quarter ended April 4, 2009. For the first quarter, revenue was $43.3 million, a decrease of 13% from the $50.0 million reported in the prior quarter, and a decrease of 23% from the $56.6 million reported in the same quarter a year ago.
